  2. BSE has launched the World’s first high frequency data on Unemployment and consumer settlements.
  3. JP nadda has launched Swasth Bharat Mobile app for A to Z information on diseases.The applications launched are
    1.ANMOL(Auxillary Nurse and Midwife online )-ANM tablet Application is aimed at improving child and maternal health.
    2.e-Raktkosh Mobile app is a centralized blood bank management information system.
    3.India fights dengue is another application launched.
  4. The Third Phase of Universal Vaccination program Inderdhanush for infants and children began on 7th April.
  5. The government has allowed Public sector Undertakings(PSU) to have their own independent crude import policy.This step of government will provide more efficient and dynamic policy for oil procurement.
  6. Reliance Industries Director Nita Ambani and SBI chairmen Arundhati Roy have been ranked top two in the Forbes Asia 50 Power Businesswomen 2016 list.
  7. A Bronze bust of Scientist Aryabhatta has been unveiled at UNESCO Headquarters.
  8. Indian Men team has won the Asian Nations chess championship tournament by winning the final by 3-1 margin against Vietnam.
  9. The government of India has approved the fiscal deficit target of 3% for states for 2015-20 Period.
  10. Former MD and CEO of Tech Mahindra Mr.CP Gurnani has been appointed as the head of NASSCOM(National Association of Software and services companies).
  11. Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has laid foundation of the first Horticulture University in Karnal,Haryana.The Name of the University will be Haryana State University of Horticultural Sciences.
  12. Three Mega Textile Project has been launched by Union Minister Santosh Gangwar in Nagaland.
  13. Iceland has named Sigurdur Ingi Johansson as the New Prime Minister of the Country.
  14. Future Group has aquired Fabfurnish (Home Furnishing and Decor Company) for an undisclosed amount.
  15. S Balaji Arunkumar has been appointed as the Chairman of Kolkata Dock System under Kolkata Port Trust.
