- Saudi Arab’s Largest Oil firm Aramco will invest in India.They will invest in infrastructure andform joint joint ventures for oil exploration.PM Modi has invited these firms to invest in India.
- Germany’s Development Bank KFW will provide Loan assistance of 500 Million Euro for Nagpur Metro Project .
- Mining Giants Vedanta Group’s Subsidiary in Talwandi Sabo(Punjab) has set the Guinness world record for planting 2,08,751 plant at a single location in less than 1 hour.
- Mercedes Driver Nico Rosberg has won the 2016 Bahrain Grand Prix.This is his 16th career title.
- The Income tax Department has started operating a facility for e-filling of the first appeal before a tax officer.The Facility of filling the appeal form can be done by using digital signatures.
- Mehbooba Mufti took an oath as the first Women Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
- West Indies has won T20 Cricket World cup.They defeated England by four wickets in the final match to win the trophy.Virat Kohli of India was adjudged as Men of the series for his consistant performance Through out the series.West Indies also clinch the Women t20 Cricket world cup trophy.
- Novak Djokovic has won the men’s single final of the Miami open.Victoria Azrenka has won the women’s Single Trophy by defeating Svetlana Kuznetsova.
