- Indira Gandhi International Airport will install World’s Largest Wooden Charkha(Spinning Wheel) at Terminal of the Airport.This will be India’s symbol of the Non Violence to the world.
- National Mission for Clean Ganga under the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) announced the formal launch of Centre for Ganga River Basin Management and Studies (CGRBMS) in New Delhi.
- Dipa Karmakar becomes the first Indian To Qualify for the Rio Olympics.
- Foreign Direct Investment in India is increased by 37% to USD 39.32 Billion during 2015.
- Rafael Nadal has won the Monte Carlo Masters Title 9th time in his carrier.He defeated Gael Monfils by 7-5 5-7 6-0 in the final.
- The Brazilian’s Lower house of congress voted to impeach President Dilma Rousseff .The measure passed with more than 343 of 513 voted in favour of impeachment.The Measure will now go to senate.If senate votes in favour it will put the president on trial.
- From now ,The Banks has to share the transaction details in the standard format.This is because the revenue intelligence and the security agencies are looking seriously into money laundering and financial fraud cases.
- The I-League Footbaal Tournament has been won by Bengaluru FC.They Beat Salgaocar FC by 2-0 margin in a match played at the Kanteevera Stadium.
- Srilankan Off Spinner Rangana Herath has announced his retirement from One day and T-20 Cricket as he wants to focus only on the test format.
