1. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has launched “Free Wi Fi for all” service at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station.This is the second railway station to be covered under this scheme after Mumbai Central railway Station.
2. Strike 1 corps has conducted a major exercise “Shatrujeet” in the deserts of Rajasthan.This exercise is aimed at evaluating the capabilty of the army to strike deep into enemy territory.
3. Co-Founder of Hero Cycles Satyanand Munjal of Hero Cycles group has passed away.
4. Google has extended free Wi-Fi service to 10 railway stations of the country to provide internet to over 1.5 Million citizens.
5. Iconic Indian Woman Boxer Mary Kom has been selected as the brand ambassador of the AIBA( International Boxing Association).
6. Australia has won the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament by beating in India by 4-0 Margin.
7. Achanta Sharath Kamal and Mauma Das has booked their place in forthcoming Rio olympic games.
8. Mercedes Driver Nico Rosberg has won the Chinese Grand Prix at the Shenghai International Circuit.
