About the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam:

  • Total Number of Question :100
  • Section wise Questions : 25 from Quantitative aptitude ,25 from Reasoning,25 from English and 25 Questions from GK.
  • Each and every question is of 2 marks.
  • Total Marks :200
  • Negative for every wrong answer is 1/4 of the value of the Question i.e .5 marks for each wrong question.
  • Total Time for the exam : 1 Hour and 15 Minutes

Other Important Instructions about the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam:

  • No Electronic Gadget is allowed inside the exam Premises.
  • Please don’t take anything other than your documents and original proofs as even pen and rough sheets will be provided inside the hall.
  • There will be a mock session of five questions  before the exam so that you can get in  touch with how the system works.If you feel that your system is not working fine or lagging,please contact the exam supervisor without any delay and change your seat immediately .
  • Please reach the exam Center at the right time so that you can save yourself from last minute fumbles.
  • There is no sectional cutoff .This sometimes becomes an obstacle in success as people tend to waste more time in the section they love the most and we advise you to give sufficient time to every section.
