Sukanya Samridhi Yojana

Sukanya Samridhi Yojana is part of Government’s efforts to encourage Financial inclusion and domestic savings. It is small saving Scheme which is aimed at encouraging people to save for  Girl’s child education and Marriage. Beti Padhao Beti Bachao is also the part of Sukanya Samridhi Yojana.#selfiewithdaugther which become popular on social media is also the part of this Scheme.

Benefits of the Scheme

  • The parents with girls child can open their account and maximum of two account can be opened by the parents(Higher in case of doublets and triplets).
  • The account can be opened in any Commercial bank or post office branch anywhere in India.
  • The Rate of Interest in Sukanya Samridhi Yojana is now 8.6% per annum.
  • The Minimum Investment per annum is Rs.1,000 and maximum investment is Rs.1,50,000.
  • If the Minimum Deposits are not deposited,then Rs.50 will be levied from the account holder.
  • Tax exemption on the interest from the account and on withdrawal from the fund after maturity, making the tax benefits similar to that of the Public Provident Fund.

Shadi Bhagya Scheme

Shadi Bhagya is Karnataka Government  Scheme Which Provide Financial Assistance to Financially Backward Muslim Women.This Scheme was launched in October ,2015.

Pregnancy Aid Scheme:

This scheme is launched in 2017 new years eve by Prime Minister of India Sh.Narendra Modi. Highlights of this scheme :

  • In this All the pregnant women will be given Rs.6000 for Nutritive diet.As the Maternal mortality rate in India is very high as compare to other country so therefore to provide Nutritive diets to the pregnant women, a sum of Rs.6000 will be given to pregnant women.
  • This Scheme will cover 650 districts of India.
  • The amount will be directly transfer into accounts of the pregnant women as this scheme is under Direct Benefit transfer which will be helpful in cutting cost and will reduce corruption.
  • This scheme is currently running in 53 districts as pilot project where Rs.4000 are given to the Pregnant women

How to apply for Pregnancy Aid Scheme :

  • Till now there is no online mode for this scheme. You can register yourself at any near by asha worker, Anganwadi worker or any health center run by govt of India.
  • You have to give birth to the child in any Govt hospital.
