Today I am going to share IBPS Specialist Officer IV Interview Questions and other important terms regarding interview. Most expected dates for IBPS SO interview in between 15th march to 23rd march depending on location to location and final result may be declared in first week of April.

Types of Question asked during interview:
1. Personal Question:- In first phase of interview, the interviewer asked question directly related to you such as; Tell me about yourself, your educational background, city, family background, hobbies, fathers occupation etc. so be ready to face such type of questions and answer confidently and be natural and clam because at this point of time the interview panel only observe how you answer the asked question. Most expected personal question given below:
Tell me something about yourself?
What is your strength and weakness?
What is your father’s Job Background ?
How many Brother sisters you have?
Why do you want to join join this job?
Why should we hire you? or Given the investment our company will make in hiring and training you, can you give us a reason to hire you?
What specific goals, including those related to your occupation, have you established for your life?
What has been your most rewarding accomplishment?
What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?
Would it be a problem for you to relocate?
2. Professional Questions: Questions on professional knowledge is a part of IBPS Specialist officer exams. There is high chance of professional questions to be asked during IBPS SO Interview. There will be atleast one technical person in each panel. Since there is vast score of technical questions to be framed. For example if you are from IT then you should know that networking and Database are two most important skills required in Banks. You should prepare all the topics that you have been studied in your course. The questions are not difficult but they are conceptual.
3. Situation Based Question:- Many times in IBPS Bank Interview, the interview panel also ask the situation based question. They give you a situation and asked what you will do in such situation. For example if you are from HR then they may put situations in front of you like;
Situation 1:- What would you do if you realized at deadline time that a report you wrote for your boss was not at par?
How to answer:- Hopefully this would never happen to me since I always make sure to plan my time properly to ensure that my work is always done. If it ever did happen I would meet with my boss and explain the situation and request an extension. I would also evaluate my actions and identify what I did wrong to not complete my work and make sure that it did not happen again.
Situation 2:- In a training session, you find that the trainer has a thick accent, and you can’t understand what’s being said. What would you do?
How to answer:- Certainly not call the trainer out on it. I would try my best to understand what the trainer is saying, ask many questions to clarify any unclear parts about the session and compare notes with someone in the session afterwards. This way I could make sure that I understand what was being explained and discussing it afterwards would help reinforce the things I learned in the session.
