Digital photo voter slips with QR code

To digitalize the process Digital photo voter slips with QR code will also be implemented. Through this process the voter can download Digital photo voter slips with QR code by using mobile apps. The QR (Quick Response) code will make the process faster and easier. Sometime we don’t get the voter slips; In that case we can download the same from the app provided by the election commission.

What are the pre requisites for downloading Digital photo voter slips with QR code?

To use the app voter’s epic number must be linked with his/her mobile number. If the mobile number is not attached than the one cannot use this facility and will have to link mobile number to epic number first.

After downloading the slip, voter can show the slip to the polling officer on polling day where he will scan the QR code and give him entry to the polling station. If the QR code does not respond then he/she has to produce physical slip. As the technology used by Election commission is very robust so therefore it will not require producing paper slip if you are carrying Digital photo voter slips with QR code.

Process to use the app :

·         Download the app from play store /Apple App Store .

·         Enter the Epic number and mobile number

·         Download the Digital photo voter slips with QR code

·         On polling day show Digital photo voter slips with QR code to polling officer

·         He will give you entry to the polling station and you can happily cast your vote.

What are the other technologies that will be implemented by Election commission in the future?

The Election commission will soon implement Artificial intelligence technology with which you will get to know the exact time there will be less number of voters on the booth and that will save your time and which will also boost the total number of cast votes .

Digital photo voter slips with QR code will be first implemented in Delhi Assembly elections by Election commission of India. The Elections will be held on 8th February 2020 and Votes will be counted on 11th of February 2020.
