  1. The New Development Bank (BRICS Bank) has disbursed $250 Million for Renewable Energy loans Canara Bank.NDB has passed loans of $811 million for renewable energy projects from India,China,Brazil,South Africa.
  2. Chief Minister of Jharkhand Sh.Raghubar Das has launched The Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana for Widows on the 125 anniversary of Sh.BR Ambedkar.
  3. Himachal Day is celebrated on 15th April 2016 as Himachal Pradesh came into existence on 25 April,1948.
  4. The National Institute of Technology (Sikkim) has unveiled the Supercomputer Param Kanchenjunga.According to NIT Sikkim,This is most powerful super computer among all the NITs.
  5. Volodymyr Groysman has been appointed as Prime Minister of Ukraine.
  6. The Central Government has decided that the Panagarh Airforce Station of West Bengal will be rename Air Force Station Arjan Singh to honour the marshal of Air force Arjan Singh.
  7. Deposit Growth is growing at the rate of 9.1% in FY 2016.This is second lowest deposit rate.The lowest was 6.5% in the fiscal ended in march 1963.
  8. President Pranab Mukherjee has inaugurated the 4th retreat of Supreme court judges.
  9. Facebook has rolled out two new terrestrial systems to connect the internet dead zones of the world.Terragraph and Antenna Radio Integration for Efficiency in Spectrum (ARIES) technologies will connect the people across the world.
  10. Indian Table Tennis Players Somyajit Ghosh and Manika Batra booked their Rio Olympic tickets.
  11. MS Dhoni has resigned as Brand Ambassador of Reality firm Amrapali.
  12. Delhi has been recognised as one of the 50 future ready cities.Top position goes San Jos.Delhi is at 44th place in the list.
  13. Gujarat Government has appointed Geeta Johri as the Director General of Police.She will be the first female DGP of the state.
