  5. Google Artificial Intelligence Programe “Alpha Go” has defeated Legendary player Lee Se-dol in Go(It is a board game that involves placing stones on a board to surround your opponent’s stones).This game presents a unique Challenge to AI.
  6. The Cabinet has approved Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana in which 1 crore and 50 lakh BPL families will get LPG connections.These connection will be given on the name of women family members only.For this scheme the govt will provide 8000 crores for the next 3 Years.
  7. Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council(TIFAC) has been conferred with Nari Shakti Puraskar 2015.
  8. India and Bangladesh have signed a new $2 Billion Line of Credit Agreement to implement Development Projects in Bangladesh.
  9. The Government of India has signed an MOU for the conservation of migratory birds of prey in Africa and Eurasia.
  10. The First ever all girls NCC(National Cadet Corps) Mount Everest Expedition was flagged off from New Dehli.
  11. The Government has approved a new price formula for undeveloped gas discoveries in difficult areas.
  12. The European Central Bank cut its benchmark interest rate(Refinance rate) to 0% from 0.05% .The refinance rate is the rate at which the ECB lends money to commercial financial institutions like banks.
