1. 10 April is observed as World Homeopathy day to commemorate the birth of Dr.Samuel Hahnemann who is the founding father of Homeopathy.
2. Government of India has signed Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar for the ‘I Support Skill India’ Campaign.The campaign was launched by Ministry of Skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE).
3. The International Mine countermeasures Exercise which is the largest maritime exercise kicked off.30 Countries are participating in this maritime exercise.This exercise is organized and led by US Navy.
4. Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries has met for a meeting in Hiroshima,Japan.The purpose of holding a meeting in Hiroshima is to send a strong signal of Non Proliferation and peace.
5. Birtain’s Anthony Joshua has won the IBF world heavyweight title.
6. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for the first time introduced a heat index for the country.The heat index is calculated based on actual temperatures and relative humidity levels.This index will be available on IMD site and will be updated in every three hours.
7. Economic affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das has said that 98% of FDI is coming into India through the automatic route.
8. Pakistan has successfully test fired off shore based anti ship missile,’zarb’.
9. The United Nations will for the first time celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar.
10. Priyadarshini Chatterjee  has won the FBB Famina Miss India 2106 title.
11. Priyanka Chopra to be awarded by Dadasaheb Falke Film Foundation Awards for best actress  of the year.
