- Some Important Points for getting into conclusions for cutoff marks :
- The cutoff will be different according to the different categories.For example Cutoff in English for General Category will be higher then compare to OBC .
- Now,IBPS clerk cutoff state wise depend upon the number of vacancies in the state.If the no of vacancies in the state is high then the chances of getting low cutoff in that state will be high.
- Other aspect is that there are many states from where very less amount of aspirants apply for the job ,In that case the cutoff will be low to get the job but IBPS has recently announced that the candidate must be proficient with the language of the state in which he/she has applied.In case ,If the candidate is not able to fulfill this then the decision on this regard will be taken by the bank which is allotted to the candidate.
- The criteria in any IBPS exam is to qualify sectional cutoff then qualify overall cutoff to clear the exam successfully . These overall cutoffs very statewise.For example Statewise cutoff will be high in Andhra pradesh then in Goa.The reason for the same are explained above.
