- India has signed a MoU with USA to Build a laser interferometer gravitational Wave observatory(LIGO) in India.
- Najma Heptulla has launched Innovative Entrepreneurship and skill development program of MANAS. Stylist Javed Habib is actively participating as a mentor in this Program. He will provide training to groom the young people.
- Union Health Minister JP Nadda has launched two digital initiatives to provide easy access to health services.First is GIS enabled HIMS application.Second one is self printing e-CGHS card.
- Life Insurance Corporation has increased its Stakes in Dena Bank and Andhra Bank.PSU has raised 65 Crores by issuing over 2 Crores of Shares.
- Governmentof India will infuse Rs.220 crores in vijaya Bank in lieu of preferential allotment of shares.
- European Investment Bank will lend 450 Million dollars for Lucknow Metro Project.
- Aero Defence Systems and Technologies (Adani Group venture) has tied up with Elbit ISTAR of Isreal and Alpha Designs Technologies of India to make Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
- Kachhabali becomes the first Liquor free village in Rajasthan. This Village has votes against closing of only liquor shop in the village.
- Patrick Dupuishas been appointed in the Wipro Board of Directors.

- The Asian Development Bank(ADB) has cut India’s economic growth forecast for 2016-17 to 7.4 from the 7.8 it projected last year.
- SBI has declared its Marginal ratios of funds based lending rate for one at 9.20 per cent.
